- The Gradescope Mobile App was released on the App Store and Google Play! It allows students to take a picture of their handwritten work or select a file and upload it directly to Gradescope. This streamlines the uploading process for students and protects their privacy by not relying on a third-party app to submit their work.
- NOTE: Version 1 of the app is strictly for students to upload their assignments to Gradescope and see scores. Some assignments (Online Assignments, Programming Assignments, and timed assignments) do not work with the mobile app—students will be directed to a browser. You can read more in the Help Center. The Gradescope Mobile App will be available globally in July.
- Rubrics Before Submission – This allows instructors to set up their rubrics before the first student submits their work. It helps save time for those who know their grading criteria before they grade, and it also benefits those with multiple graders to create an instructor-approved rubric before grading.
- Question Randomization – Instructors can now randomize questions and answer choices for Online Assignments. This helps ensure assessment integrity and makes it more difficult for students to share answers. Read more about this feature in the Help Center.
- Unpublish All Grades – This button allows instructors to unpublish all grades, rubrics, and feedback from a course, typically used at the end of the term. This upholds assessment integrity by ensuring students from one term aren’t sharing with students from the next.
- Additional Languages have been added to Gradescope – Users (Instructors and Students) can change their language by going to Account>>>Edit Account and change the dropdown to the preferred language.
