NameCoach is a tool that allows students to record the correct pronunciation of their name and instructors to listen to it.
This tool can be found in Esther and was recently added to Canvas. In Canvas, only instructors can see the NameCoach tool in their Course Navigation Bar.
In order to view the roster, you will need to authorize with your Canvas account the first time you open it If you do not want to see this tool in your course list, you can go to your course settings -> Navigation, then drag the NameCoach Roster slider down to the hidden list.
Students must record their names in Esther. Faculty can then hear the recordings in Canvas.
