Summary: Rice Online Learning discussed the process, purpose, and possible benefits of creating a landing/homepage for Canvas courses. In this session, they walked through their process for designing an engaging landing/homepage from research and concept to design and use. They shared an example of a landing/homepage they designed for a Rice faculty member. They also shared long-term goals of creating a user-friendly landing/homepage template that can be used by Rice faculty.
